Who's behind it?

Theatre Works was founded by three artistic associates, Nova Lea Thorne, Heather Drage, and Scott Henderson. Theatre Works also contracts many guest teachers to provide top quality artistical education for its students.

Nova Lea Thorne BBA, BFA (Drama) is a dynamic and inspirational motivator. She has enjoyed working as a performer, instructor, and stage manager with such organizations as Quest Theatre, Triangle Theatre School, Theatre Calgary, Theatre New Brunswick, Youth Dance Unlimited, and Calgary Arts Partners in Education.

Heather Drage BFA Musical Theatre (Drama, Dance, Vocals) has performed extensively on stage, video and film. She is an in-demand freelance choreographer, director and vocal coach having worked with the University of Windsor, Hudson Play Company, StoryBook Theatre and Triangle Theatre School. Heather has a wealth of experience behind the scenes with stage management, stage make-up and lighting.

Scott Henderson (Vocals) has enjoyed commercial success as a performer and a songwriter. His former pop R&B vocal group The EarthTONES scored 5 Top-20 Hits, 2 JUNO Nominations, toured the world and worked with several of the music industry's biggest producers. With his current projects, Scott continues to be an in-demand and critically acclaimed writer, producer and performer.
