Annie is the well-loved Broadway smash hit musical! It's the circa 1930's story of orphan Annie who longs of reuniting with her parents while living in the squalor of a NYC orphanage (run by the extremely bitter Miss Hannigan). Annie becomes the inspiration for an evil plot to extort money out of the billionaire Orville Warbucks by Miss Hannigan and her ruthless brother. However, (Daddy) Warbucks becomes enchanted by the bold and charming orphan and seeks to adopt her when it seems Annie's parents are not to be found.

Annie was originally written by Thomas Meehan, Charles Strouse, and Martin Charnin (who also directed the original Broadway production). Annie was produced by Theatre Works at the Vertigo Theatre June 2007, and was directed by Heather Drage, with musical direction by Scott Henderson.
